MESSAGE FROM FR. RICHARD ZANOTTI , C.S.

MESSAGE FROM FR. RICHARD ZANOTTI , C.S.

As we are about to begin another year I am reminded of the passage from Luke’s gospel, Luke 2:16-19:

“When the angels went away from them to heaven, the shepherds said to one another, ‘Let us go, then, to Bethlehem to see this thing that has taken place, which the Lord has made known to us.’ So they went in haste and found Mary and Joseph, and the infant lying in the manger. When they saw this, they made known the message that had been told them about this child. All who heard it were amazed by what had been told them by the shepherds. And Mary kept all these things, reflecting on them in her heart.”

Mary reflected upon the events surrounding the birth of Jesus to understand what plan God had for her and for her child.

As we come to the end of a year and prepare for the new one to begin do we also reflect upon the events of this past year to see what plans God has for us?

Merry Christmas

MESSAGE FROM FR. RICHARD ZANOTTI , C.S.

I have been so inspired by the generosity of the parishioners during these weeks…hampers to the poor…gifts for children…supplies to Hope for Women, meals for prisoners, Christmas dinner and gift bags for the farm workers, and so much more as well as the individual acts of kindness. The various activities like the Christmas dinner, the ladies brunch, the Christmas concert, posadas and misa de gallo all brought us together in preparing to celebrate Christmas. I cannot fail to mention the decoration of the church both for the celebration of Our Lady of Guadalupe and for Christmas. All of these activities brought you together in common efforts. We bring all of this to the celebration of the Eucharist where we give thanks for the many
blessings that we have been granted as a parish community.

A blessed Christmas to you and your families!

Frs. Richard and Jaime, Deacons Larry and Bod, Srs. Yolanda, Elizabeth and Virginia
——

Frs. Richard and Jaime, Deacons Larry and Bob, Srs. Yolanda, Elizabeth and Virginia.
